Look for Gas Sippers in Used Cars for Sale |

I read a really interesting article the other day that said that the hybrid cars actually have a pretty high carbon footprint, when the manufacturing process is factored into them, and that if people really wanted to lessen their carbon footprint, they'd buy older used cars for sale that are gas savers. I can believe this. My car is an older model that rivals the hybrids for fuel economy, and it has the simplest of technologies under the hood. Nissan came out with a fuel efficient car as a prototype, and only built them one year. It makes you wonder why they don't resurrect that old technology, and start building them that way again. I get between 35 to 50 miles to the gallon, and not many owners of used cars for sale can boats that kind of mileage. Nor can new car manufacturers, even for the compact ones. When your considering replacing your present vehicle with either used cars for sale or a new one to get better mileage, take the article's advice seriously, and hunt around for gas sippers that may be older, but won't cost a fortune to fill up. |
