There are quite a few trucks for sale right now, as people who don't need them try to get rid of them because of the expensive fuel. How long this situation will last is unknown, but it seems to me that spending $200 a month on commuting expenses is a little outrageous, unless you make boatloads of money. I'm all for buying used cars for sale by owner, because I think you get better deals, and most people are honest about the condition of their vehicles. And you can test them using special equipment that will tell you if anything is wrong with the vehicle.
